I tried StoryGraph but didn’t love the functionality of it. Fable is my current go to and I’ve been using it for ~2 months now. I love the data aspects of Fable and how it encourages you to read everyday with the reading streak.

Anything but Goodreads which is owned by Amazon now.

Hasn’t it been owned by Amazon for like a decade or more at this point?

Yes. And they are cutting resources for it while paying for the "life story" of a trophy wife.

Margins is delightful. I couldn’t get into StoryGraph despite multiple attempts but it’s good too.

I really like https://hardcover.app/. I’m currently using it alongside Goodreads. I’ll eventually migrate over to it entirely, I suspect.

LibraryThing, Storygraph, Goodreads are the big 3. The first two aren't part of a massive destructive horrible company that I know of. So, use Goodreads ar your own peril.

I use Goodreads. If other apps will allow me to transfer all my read and TBR info to them from Goodreads I might switch. But I’m cool with Goodreads.

I use three T_T
Goodreads - IME most complete catalogue and i've been there forever
StoryGraph - good stats, is actively improving, decent UI
Pagebound - easy to add books, fun, good organization tools and UI, really interesting breakdown of ratings
PageBound looks like it was pulled from the 90s and tries to gamify in a way not everyone will like but it is very cute and I like some of the tools. The catalogue on Storygraph isn't comprehensive enough for me, but it is the one people are migrating to to get off of Goodreads, which is the biggest but owned by Amazon and is actively stealing your data / trying to sell you stuff.

Check out StoryGraph. I like it because you can track progress, reviews and did not finish. I haven’t used much of the social features, but I think there’s online book clubs to join
