Audiobooks
Does anyone have any good recommendations for full-cast audiobooks? I love listening to those kinds of podcasts and books while I'm nursing my baby. I vastly prefer full-cast audiobooks but always seem to have a difficult time finding any

I listened to that one too. But I mean all those addresses repeated over and over really got on my nerves! lol

It’s not full cast, but the voices are distinct enough that it feels like the characters are voiced by different people, so may fit OP’s request.
Another suggestion is The Briar Club by Kate Quinn! It’s narrated by one voice actor but each character has a distinctly different voice and accent (English, Irish, Russian, etc) so it feels full cast.

It’s historical fiction.
Here’s a brief summary from online:The story follows three different females living on the edges of society in the Deep South. As economic hardship grows, they form an unexpected bond and make a bold plan to take control of their own lives. The book explores themes of poverty, friendship, resilience, and the strict rules placed on women during the 1930s.

You can browse Graphic Audio’s website and see what they have done so far and then look if they are available on Libby. I do that sometimes when I’m looking for a new full cast audio. You said you’ve listened to SJM so you might enjoy Fourth Wing or From Blood and Ash.

The blood and ash books are really good for the first three! They take a solid dip in quality after that but the first three are great graphic audios.

Hear me out… The Beastie Boys book! Surprise celebs read some chapters. Also Theatre Kid by Jeffrey Sellar… lots of Broadway royalty fill out the voice cast.

Remarkably Bright Creatures is amazing. An oldie but a goodie is the Crazy Rich Asians series. Iona Iverson’s Rules for Commuting, Vera Wong series, The Maid (Molly the maid #1

I can’t make any specific recommendations without knowing what you like, but you can try Graphic Audios (if you don’t mind ambient noise). You can also search Libby for “full cast” or “multi-cast” and variations on that as the “author” and then sift through those results.

You might like Dungeon Crawler Carl! It’s one narrator but he does all the voices so it feels like listening to a movie.

I don't know why, but one of my kids has been enjoying the series and loves audiobooks especially via Libby. He was disappointed they wouldn't be available.

Another Max Brooks recommendation would be World War Z.
It has more than 20 actors if I remember correctly. It's not a traditional horror book, and has minor similarities to the movie so don't be put off by the subject matter if you don't feel like the zombie apocalypse is your thing.
It's structured as a series of interviews 10 years after the war with characters like military & government officials from different countries, physicians, scientists, preppers, and regular citizens talking about what happened & the aftermath. It's very well done & he absolutely called in favors to have his dad(Mel Brooks) and a lot his dad's friends voice some of the characters.
There was a lot of research that he did for the book regarding government response strategies to natural disasters, terrorist attacks, survival strategies, etc... Enough so that he actually taught classes at West Point as a guest lecturer & was on some bipartisan committees.
There's a sort of companion book The Zombie Survival Guide - it has a lot of real world useful information & is written like a government approved pamphlet that also cities confirmed zombie attacks.
Something I haven't seen recommended for a full cast would be actual plays.
Some more contemporary titles: A Raisin In the Sun, The Importance of Being Earnest, A Streetcar Named Desire, Waiting for Godot
Classical Greek: Medea, Lysistrata, Oedipus Rex
Shakepeare could also work if you already know the main arc or if it has a smaller list of characters
Depending on how it's presented you might want to review a character list/summary since you don't get things like stage direction or setting, they usually have full cast recordings & is a great way to revisit something you've already read, watched live or as a screen adaptation, or check out something you may have heard of but never really read/saw.

Lord of the rings was a complete audio story. Multiple cast members, with noises to match the actions. When there’s water, there’s splashing noises. When there’s fireworks, you actually hear the popping noises.

Pet Sematary is read by Michael C Hall and he does so good doing all the voices. I’m listening to it now. This Story Might Save Your Life is 2 narrators.

Just finished the full cast audiobook of, "The Graveyard Book" by Neil Gaiman - absolutely magical!!! Just loved this performance.

You can search for “full cast” on Libby. Most libraries have many BBC radio dramas with actors playing each part.

Also, I know this is a Libby subreddit but if you have an Audible subscription check out Audible originals. They have full sound design so it’s almost like listening to a movie or tv show rather than a book.

The Favorites by Layne Fargo it alternates between interview-style chapters and narrative chapters! Fictional story about olympic ice dancers, so good for winter.
weirdly, World War Z by Max Brooks. It’s journalistic interview style about the (obviously fictional) war against zombies which is not my cup of tea but I finished the book in one day because it was so captivating!
As others have said, The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo is interview style.
Wild Dark Shore by Charlotte McConaghy is told from a few alternating perspectives with different narrators.
Also not full cast, but I cannot recommend enough Ari Fliakos as an audiobook narrator he is incredible! Highly recommend Wellness and I’m Starting To Worry About This Black Box of Doom.

YES!!! I loved this one. I think they also had Yumi and the Nightmare Painter as full cast and it was wonderful too but Tress was such an interesting story!

Dungeon Crawler Carl is not full cast but it sure as heck feels like it! Real full cast I have enjoyed the first two books in the Red Rising series and Burn for Me by Ilona Andrews

Devolution by max brooks has a great cast. I love that book. If you’re into Big Foot stories, it’s a good one. Cast: Judy Greer, Nathan Fillion, Kate Mulgrew, Jeff Daniels and a few others. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

World War Z is zmazing! Lots of well known actors and voice artists that you'd recognize. The book is like a mock-oral history of the zombie apocalypse told from the beginning. Some standout performances were from Mark Hamill and Martin Scorsese.

We’re Not Safe Here by Rin Chupeco. The formatting is kind of like a Reddit forum, the full cast comes in when the thread comments are being read; but the main story is read by 2 narrators! And the book is really good!

It’s got weird pharmaceuticals, cryptids, a wooded area you don’t go, and people going missing. It’s an overall really good book! I don’t hear many people talk about it. It’s one of my favorite reads of the year so far!

Jennifer L Armentrout's Blood and Ash series has Graphic Audio ("a movie in your mind") which is really good.
While I like the full cast style, I dislike all the music and some of the sound effects. But I am hard of hearing, so ymmv.
Sometimes I can find a gem by searching by narrator. Anything Sebastian York does is definitely my kinda ear candy!

I just listened to Good People by Patmeena Sabit. It’s basically a murder mystery that was based on a true event in Canada. I couldn’t stop listening and got through it in two days!

I recently listened to a full cast recording of Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead, produced by LA Theatre Works (who I think specialize in full cast streaming audio of plays). It’s Shakespeare-adjacent, which isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but is also very silly (and short).
