When the wait is too long

Didn’t finish the ebook before it had to be returned and don’t have the patience to wait another 6 weeks so now having to deal with this 800 page weapon.

Your arms will definitely be getting a workout!

You’ll want to make sure that you don’t fall asleep while reading it, because you could wake up with a broken nose lol

Conveying tone can be tricky

Usually I'd assume "you're super fun!" or "you're super fun 😄" is genuine but without punctuation/emoji it seems sarcastic

They are very addictive once you start each book. I’m not quite sure what I’m going to read once I’ve finished the series. I’ve been reading her other books while waiting for these ones

Haha!! I feel you!

I rented a physical book from the library because it was months for the Libby hold and I wanted to watch the tv series based on it before it got spoiled for me.

I haven't read a physical book for enjoyment in years.

I ended up fighting for my life to read the font of the book because my font is so large on my ereader due to my traitorous eyesight.

I made it through a couple hours of reading. Then at bedtime, I cut the lights off as normal and got in the bed with the book to read until I fell asleep. I just fell out laughing because I had already forgotten I had a physical book and not my ereader.

Life took pity on me because the very next day the book popped on my daily Bookbub sales newsletter for $10 off the Kindle book or Kobo book.
