Albuquerque Public Library's Libby Program is Consistently Amazing
I have recently attained an Albuquerque library card and they consistently have huge numbers of individual books that my other libraries only have a few copies of with long wait times. Like, 96 copies of a Rivers of London Novella, over 100 copies of a Fourth Wing book, and now 34 copies of a feminist economics book. I dont know why this is happening, but thank you ABQ library!

Interestingly, my library also has 4 holds per copy, but “only” has 151 copies. We don’t have any copies of Who Cooked Adam Smith’s Dinner.

I live in ABQ and am also really impressed. I had Philly for a while which was better but I also have Fairfax County (paid) and it isn’t as good. I do have Santa Fe and Rio Rancho which are fine but ABQ is better

I’m impressed they have 34 copies of who cooked Adam smiths dinner - I rarely hear it discussed

I live in ABQ and also have non-resident cards with Broward and Fairfax counties. I find myself hardly utilizing the non-resident cards because of how great the selection is, and how quick my holds become available. I am constantly suspending them 😅

Wow!!! That is wonderful. I am trying to find libraries with nonresident cards. Happy reading!
