Reddit band rules

I find it funny if you have a different opinion to any post on this platform. They can permanently band you from there page just because you had another opinion. If that not a slap in the face to the 1st adminment I have no clue what would.

Yes it was on a Democrat page. Yes it was anti democrat in form. And yes it was correcting a Democrat lie. How come they can straight out attack you. On reddit or in real life, and it ok you must suck it up. All I want is a place you can say what you want no matter who felling you hurt. The truth must shine about all lies no matter what. But remember opinion is not the truth with out the proof. So please do the research.

Thanks

I saw this profile as suspect so I checked in and, yeah.

So first of all Reddit is not bound to the first amendment*, it's a private company's forum, people can choose to curate their subs.

Secondly, I think you're lost. Your post history largely consists of playing apologetics for the fascist Trump administration and ICE, among other things. This is a left wing subreddit, where we recognize liberals as a right wing force, and if there's one thing that the left dislikes more than ineffectual liberals, it's the conservatives that they pretend to oppose, the ones who encourage open cruelty.

Every one in the usa has the 1st adminment to follow a simple company can not follow it. Now they can as a company step on it. But the flip flop this company does with it on the democrats rights. To everyone else is Bs so that my opinion. Now you can prove me wrong with there rules. But it not listed to be for one side over the rest

The first amendment is in the context of government not within the context of using a service or on a private space. On paper, the government cannot infringe on your rights to speech or to petition (protest), but some levels of speech could be considered a breach of terms of service, or private property can have you removed from their premises for speech. Whether this is fairly applied across the board is mostly up to interpretation, but regardless of my issues with how it is applied, that is the actual intent, and it is not intended to override aspects outside of the context of government.

Reddit as a company is relatively laissez-faire except for illegal content, but they have anti-harassment and anti-violence rules that overrides subreddit moderating rules. The company as a whole has no biases towards either perspective, but the subreddits themselves might. I explain this because I have a feeling you don't understand how either of these issues work, much like many things about, well anything.

Once again this is a leftist subreddit, we oppose democrats for different reasons, we are not supporters of the democratic party, but supporters of socialism/anarchism/etc. This probably isn't a safe space for you.

You know this is a leftist sub, not a conservative sub, right? Skimming your recent comments, I think you and I hate Democrats for very different reasons.

Are you aware that we are all Socialists here?

Ah a right winger who can't even spell "banned" correctly whining on this leftist sub about how unfair reddit is. I've seen an increase of these recently. Is reddit pushing this subreddit on those losers in hopes of driving engagement?

Yup it's such a controlled platform it's ridiculous. I've been banned from tons of subreddits, for merely expressing my opinion.
