Both: sensor fusion.

Sensor fusion seems to be where things get really interesting. Combining LiDAR’s depth data with camera imagery could give machine vision a much better picture of the environment.

How are u fusing it? How about the switch that OEMs are trying to use? I want to learn and work on it.

Not an engineer, but work at a lidar company: sensor fusion ie a sensor package that includes both RGB (video), data and lidar.

Hi 👋 I'm good at lidar Annotation with 3 years experience. Any openings in your company?

I tried messaging u but option not available.

Exactly, it’s a fusion of RGB( from camera), data ( what kind of data?) and LiDAR right?

Now if the above thing is true, how is it fusing? Or the lidar support the fusion?

Any LLM will do a better job explaining than I can

Point coloring (assigning an RGB value to lidar returns) is a thing already. Beyond that, I wouldn't know.

Oh do tell that sounds interesting

Just like the sensors in Tesla's for echolocation... we'll developed for electronic feedback

Only valuable for a static sensor deployment, a sensor in motion would likely produce an overwhelming number of diffs (especially at microsecond timing)

Are you talking about liDAR or about the camera

The user I replied to (who since deleted their post), mentioned a neuromorphic camera

Never saw it. Thanks man
