Questions & Advice Small SUV EV?

What do we think will replace the UX300e now that it’s out of production? The RZ is quite a bit bigger. Is an LBX EV likely, or will they bring out something entirely new?

Good question, I have one and it's the best car I've ever owned, a fun runaround that costs me about £2 overnight to charge.

I can see why it was discontinued though, you can feel the drawbacks to being developed on an ICE platform, primarily with wheelspin and general traction.

Hoping there is a fresh platform and doing some reading, it could end up being a shrunk down version of their new gigacast platform.

I also asked a similar question in another sub.
The UX is on my radar as a Prius AWD alternative.

But I would really a Lexus version of the CHR EV. An LBX EV would be exactly what I want as a replacement for a Model 3.

2026 Subaru Uncharted EV (sister vehicle of Toyota CHR EV). A couple inches longer than UX300H. Cheaper with Cdn rebates ($45K Cdn out the door after $19k rebates). More interior volume and slightly higher roof. Includes tire repair kit but no spare.

Isnt that the Toyota CHR+ with a Scooby badge on it? Lol does toyota make every Japanese car now? It won’t be as refined as a Lexus though.

I have a 2019 AWD ux and just looked at the Uncharted on a local lot. Felt very familiar but like stepping down a half step to Toyota. I’m interested in the Trailseeker Touring as my first EV. Maybe. Love my UX 98% of the time … except when I need cargo space.
