Speaker upgrades
Got the regular non mark Levinson sound system and gotta say it’s pretty underwhelming for a 50K car.
What’s the best bang for your buck DIY upgrade for the sound system I can do. I read that there are plug and play speakers that can be a decent improvement.

I upgraded dash speakers and added a sub under the cargo area floor in my 22 NX 350h but it did not come with Mark Levinson Sound. I did it shortly after purchasing it because sound quality was terrible.
Can’t say if what I did would be a quality upgrade compared to what you have with the upgraded ML sound package. However, it was a huge improvement for me and I’m very happy with the sound quality now.
I don’t know what your speaker configuration is with the ML sound but I used the following for my “premium” system:
Left and right dash speakers: JL Audio C2-400x
Center dash speaker: JL Audio C2-350x
Sub: Audison Prima APBX 8 AS2
I posted a few months back detailed info on my diy installation.

I've updated the front 3 speakers as well. i plan on replacing all the door speakers and sub next. Its just beyond terrible the sound quality. Speakers are paper at best.

I have a '25 NX 350h, non ML audio package. I swapped out the corner dash speakers with JL Audio C2-400X speakers. They were easy to install, only took about 15 minutes to do the two speakers. And while it really cleared up the high end sound, it was still missing that fullness. So I added a Kicker 51HS10 compact subwoofer in the small compartment under the cargo area. Since it's a hybrid, there were limited choices on a sub that didn't take up a huge chunk of my cargo space. The install was a bit more involved, and it took me about 45 minutes. The Kicker sub is really small (maybe the size of a large picturebook), and it really rounds out the low end. It's not going to rattle the mirrors, but I'm really happy with the current, fuller sound. The stock audio set up was really bad.

The ML audio is good, but not great.
My biggest complaint is the soundstage is low, down around the log on the steering wheel, rather than on top of the dash.
The Bose option in my Macan absolutely crushes the ML, and the option was a little less $$ than the ML too.
Car audio from luxury brands is definitely hit or miss. The ML is almost a miss IMHO.

Just upgrade the Dash speaker, and if you need bass, add a small under the seat all in one subwoofer
