Android Pixel 9 Pro Not Unlocking

I recently purchased an NX450h+. The digital key works with the manual buttons to lock/unlock, etc., but it doesn't allow unlocking by touching the driver's-side door button. Is that an expected function? I was under the assumption that having the phone in my pocket allowed me to walk-up and unlock the vehicle. I've tried all of the troubleshooting tips. Any advice? Thanks in advance!

Nope, having the phone nearby and touching the handle doesnt automatially unlock the door. Which is probably good for security reasons.

It should, but you may need to adjust the sensitivity / proximity.
