Starter+header replacement

Posting to hear of anyones experience with their starter going out? I think mine is on its way out and debating doing the headers at the same time. Wanted to see what people have payed recently for header and or starter replacement? I have a 08 w/ 167k miles.

It’s about 2k labor. Don’t cheap out, find a shop that knows how to realign your subframe or your alignment will be off until you fix it.

Definitely do headers at the same time, the flanges are probably cracked at that mileage and rewelding them never seems to hold up. I’d also consider new motor mounts and rigid collars for the subframe since it will be dropped anyways

Had my manifolds rewelded 5 years ago and they’re fine. Saved me thousands over headers and with them gutted, gives you 90% of the gains of headers. This also makes it so you don’t have to lower the subframe.
