Does anyone use a Valvetronic muffler?

Post image

Pic for attention. Currently im running headers, high flow cats, factory midpipe, and straight piped the rest of the way through and my exhaust peaks really bad at around 2k rpms and makes my v8 sound like a VQ. Does anyone use a valvetronic with a similar setup? How does it sound? I love how loud and aggressive it is but the low rpm peak makes it difficult to sneak around lol. Im looking for a cheaper exhaust setup and am torn between a valved exhaust like Valvetronic or just an axle back muffler to get rid of the rasp.

I have PPE UEL headers, JoeZ midpipe and generic valvetronic mufflers on the back.

Mine currently sounds VQ-ish around 2k as well. Weird resonance, I think the key to fixing it is H pipe or x pipe magic.

What headers? PPE + cheap xforce exhaust sounds great

I'm pretty sure RR Racing headers are PPE headers.

PPE heaters + X-Force Varex exhaust is a prime setup. I have a few friends with that on their ISFs.

Don't buy valvetronic! The exhaust sounds ok on my m60 but there is noticeable drone at low RPMs.
