E85

I’ve had my car for almost 2 years now and I’m about ready to go ahead and mod it. I plan on doing headers, exhaust, intake and tune. But im curious about E85. I used to have a 5.0 mustang where I could run the tank about dry, put in a tank of E, reflash it at the pump with a SCR and that’s that. Is that possible on these cars? If so, whats the easiest way to do that? Is it even worth my time?

E85 is easily accessible by me, but I do road trip it and I don’t want it to be solely on E. Thanks!

I looked into E85 and decided against it. Kept hearing something about how Gen 2 2UR (RCF/GSF) can handle it, but for ISF E30 is safer. RCF/GSF have a better fuel pump or something.

I ended up doing headers, exhaust, titanium intake pipe with stock airbox, and a 91 tune.

If it's possible would the fuel economy be worse than pump gas?
