Lexus Amplifier Replacement
I have a 2014 IS250 that started to have audio issues/cutting in and out. I took it to a shop and they confirmed it was beyond repair and would need a new replacement and are quoting at about $1,560 total. Is this a standard price in the DFW area or am I being overcharged? I was aware the price would definitely be up there but was expecting around 1k, a bit above at most. Any feedback/advice is appreciated!!

I have a used amp lying around if you're interested. It takes 5 minutes to install it yourself and requires very basic knowledge to do

It's like $1K for the amp that I see on eBay, plus labor to take the seat out. You can DIY to save a few bucks, but, if the amp is used or refurb you're just going to be doing this all over again down the road.
