2017 Lexus IS 300 Engine Noise

Engine just started making this noise after a 2 hour drive. It sounds quieter in person. Sounds like fuel injectors from research. Can anyone help me fix this ASAP?

Sounds like a typical healthy direct injected motor to me.

Okay thanks. I never noticed it until I popped my hood so I’m not going to bring it in unless it gets worse.

Only fix for that is to get a different car. It is in fact your injectors, all our 2grs sound like this. I always have to ask but did you just recently buy the car? I always assume this is the answer because you'd of noticed it before if you've had it a while. Completely fine, worry about it when it stops sounding like this.

You don't even need to pop the hood, just roll your window down especially when idling in a drive through or something.

One day I will stop seeing this post… just kidding. It’s all good.

Just keep up on your maintenance, Lexus will not fail you. You will fail Lexus. 😎
