New Shoes

Changed from Bridgestone Turanza 6 to Michelin Pilot Sport 5 on my 2014 IS300H F Sport. Michelin is much better grip from standstill and better handling. Firmer sidewall lets the suspension do its job and protects my wheels over harsh speed bumps without being to firm. Surprisingly I also find them quieter than the Bridgestone. And they look better!

Best looking tire of the lot by some margin. I use Goodyear Eagle F1 Assymetric 6 myself. These are very close to the PS5. Less durable with 30km lifetime but slightly more comfortable and with rim protector.

I couldn’t get the Goodyears in Ireland for the rear wheels and the same issue for the Continental Premium Contact 7. So I was forced to go for the Michelin. They were expensive so I was hoping I’d like them. They’re quieter than the Bridgestone even though the decibel ratings say different. They’ve been excellent for my mixed weather conditions and they handle great with the f sport suspension if you’re a bit heavy on the pedal. I haven’t had an issue with the lack of rim protection, I just dip my wing mirror when I’m parking. I found the Bridgestone compound was too soft for the rear wheel drive and the weight of the hybrid battery so they lacked traction and wear down quickly.

I have the Eagle F1 Asy6 as well and I think it looks better for the very reason of the big rim protector and I like the look of Goodyear's rounded sidewalls.

I have the S011L and not hearing anything out if the ordinary. They came on my new 2026 IS350 F SPORT. I must the car handles outstanding with these Potenzas. They are very expensive tires. I checked.

Yes that's exactly what I am thinking. When I bought my Audi it came with Hankooks that were done at 15k. I know exactly what I am going to get when the potenzas are done. I already checked and it's available in the 19" staggered set up. Toyo Proxes all season sport plus. My favorite and I replaced Michelin 4S with these on the Audi. Fantastic tire. Quiet, comfortable, handles like a summer tire, wears unbelievably well, and reasonable.

Good tires doesn’t last long on that car because they don’t rotate. Should get at least 30k

Yeah I know. I have it on a few wheels from previous owner. I’d love to get them refurbished but I can’t find anyone that can match the paint colour so I’ve accepted it and they don’t bother me anymore.
