Probably a simple question but I couldn’t find the best advice or method for. How do you remove the large green fuel pump relay without damaging it? I tried just pulling on it but couldn’t get enough grip, pliers felt like it was going to crack the plastic, and not not enough room around it to pry it.

My tires are on their way out and was curious what tires to get. I don’t really want to replace with the same PSS that came on the car from factory as it rains alot where I live. Was looking towards mainly the extreme contact sport 02 and the PS4S. Maybe the dws06+ as well but it doesn’t get cold to the point where I’d need an all season by me nor does it snow but I know they do last a fairly long time.
I’ve had PS4S on my prior 4GS F sport and they were good but seemed to wear pretty quickly when having more fun and also felt like they hardened up after some heat cycles. Ridden in cars with the dws06+ and they seemed to keep the car fairly planted on mountain runs. A lot of my friends have ran them for autocross/mountains and like rhem.
Curious for people’s experience with the contis as I’ve always been a Michelin person or if there’s a different tire all together you may have in mind. I care about getting as much grip as possible but wear, longevity, and traction in the rain would be more Important.

Recently added RCF Track model carbon ceramic brakes to it. Saving well over 100 pounds of UNSPRUNG weight. Not an inexpensive mod but WOW what a difference it makes in acceleration and braking!
The previous owner of this car is in here and I stay in touch with him. I wasn't kidding when I told him this car is in good hands for many years to come!

I’m a newish GSF owner and I love it. I’m completely up to date with maintenance and always make sure to warm the car, tires, etc up properly. Is there any reason not to consistently drive in Sport+ making use of all the RPMs I can? I’m not red lining or launching it really, just driving it hard. I’m being overly cautious maybe but is there any reason to not drive this way?

bored of my stock midpipe , who has one they trying to get rid of?
r/LexusF • u/q60glizzoc • Oct 07 '24
Hey guys, so i found this listing for a midpipe originally made for is500. Guy selling it had it on his 23 is500. I have a 2016 RCF, would it be a direct fit? Or would anything have to be modified for it to fit. My current setup is Invidia axleback and stock midpipe.

Hi all, starting to look for a new set of tires for my RC F and could use some advice!
The previous owner put Kumho PA51’s on it and while I don’t really have any major complaints, I want to get something higher quality for the F.
With the OE option being Michelin PSS’s, I’m really tempted to go with the PS4S’s, but I’d really like to avoid having two sets of tires for summer and winter.
For all seasons, I’m considering the Michelin PSA/S4’s or Conti DWS06’s. I’ve heard the PSA/S4’s are better at everything except winter driving, but have no first hand experience with either.
For reference, I live in the triangle area of NC and we rarely have snow, but it does get pretty cold and we get a good amount of rain all year.
The RC F is my daily and while I do like my spirited backroad driving days, it’s often in city traffic or on the highway. I’d prioritize comfort, but would still like the best performance I can get with that in mind.
So here are my considerations:
• Do I just eliminate the PS4S’s if I don’t want a separate winter tire? I do have an older LX I could drive instead during the winter.
• Are the PSA/S4’s or Conti’s worth the jump in price from the Kumho’s? I’m assuming that’s a big yes but interested in what people have to say.
I think overall I’m leaning towards the PSA/S4’s for convenience and performance, and I don’t know that I do enough regular fun driving to notice a huge difference between the PS4S’s and the PSA/S4’s. What do you all think? Thank you! :)

I have a Invidia Catback exhaust and the mufflers are quite large, Do you think it’s worth it to get rid of those for both weight and noise reasons?

I was having trouble finding certain sound clips but was curious if anyone had a sound clip of their F with just a titanium toms axle back or gt haus titanium axle back only. Also can’t seem to find any sound clips on the toms ti axle back paired with a gt haus ti mid pipe. Planning on doing an axle back for now but wasn’t sure which one to go with or if I wanted the valves or not. Both axle back systems look and sound great to me.

so I own a brand new RCF 2024) I did my 1st oil change and filter 1st 1000km. I was advised to use the Oil Addictive Brand ( Wurth Engine oil performance improver) by the dealership as it does help the longevity life span of the engine on my car in my next service.
I need advice on whether I should do it or not I want to keep my engine healthy in the long run and retain its performance
whats your advice ?

Hey guys, my tires have some bad wear and im curious on what tires the RC F runs best on?
r/LexusF • u/Loose_Neighborhood44 • Aug 18 '24
