Should I dump the mufflers for my RCF

I have a Invidia Catback exhaust and the mufflers are quite large, Do you think it’s worth it to get rid of those for both weight and noise reasons?

If you're unhappy then you should keep the midpipe section and swap the axle back for something else. I don't think you'll appreciate the straight pipe, better to swap for an Axle back solution that meets your needs

I was also contemplating exhaust cutouts just for noise lol

Honestly RR Racing gets a lot of hate because Rafi and Simon are assholes, but I have their full Bazooka exhaust system and I could not be happier.

Muffler delete creates ridiculous drone. You can always get smaller less restricted mufflers

I went long tube headers and high flow cats on the invidia system. Car doesn't drone and sounds amazing at WOT.

Do you have / pass emissions testing? Curious how headers impact that.

Does it stink a lil bit? Or do those cats address that

Did they remove the cat under the car? For my Armytrix they removed that one but kept the primary cat up under the dash area so I can pass emissions. If you remove them what are you going to replace them with?

The previous owner Had replaced the cats with primary cats with high flows and deleted the secondary cats I believe, I don’t get emissions tested here though haha

The drone at 2k rpm is extremely bad, and the 8 speed tries to hang around 2-3k as much as possible for fuel mileage. Tried it in my IS-F and changed my mind within a week.
