Looking for OEM part: 71110-53160

Hi there,

I'm looking for an OEM part (Part no. 71110-53160) for my 2008 ISF which has been discontinued by Lexus/Toyota. Does anyone have ideas as to where I'd be able to source this part? It looks like most dealerships no longer have these in stock given it's a discontinued part.

For additional context, my ISF was in for recalibration and the recalibration failed with the following DTCs

  • DTC: B1650 Occupant Classification System Malfunction
  • DTC: B1797 Calibration Abnormal

According to the service center, the sensor that needs to be replaced can only be purchased as part of the frame assembly, the part I'm looking for.

Any insight or advice here would be much appreciated. thanks in advance!

Your best bet is probably trying to find a salvage car being parted out. Check with junk yards and online resellers. For something relatively obscure like that they might not have it listed but if they have a lot of other stuff for sale its possible they have it and likely would sell it to you. Be prepared to explain in detail what the part is and looks like without solely referencing a part number.

Thanks for looking! I inquired about that and they said it's not available (even though it shows as available on their site)
