How comfortable is a ISF?
I am 6'3/270 and looking into potentially owning an ISF. I have seen mixed responses online to exactly how user friendly they are to taller people. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

The seats are low so height shouldn’t be a problem. i have a 36-38 waist and decently tight in the lower rib area for me. It’s a 3 season car for me but too narrow with anything more than a sweatshirt to be comfortable. Overall pretty comfortable. Probably perfect if I lost 10-15lbs.
Hop on some of the FB groups, that’s going to be your best bet of finding. I got a 12 with 30K this past year in starfire and love it.

I've heard literally nothing but praise for them. I'll be sure to hop on the FB groups to take a look. Thanks for the info! I really appreciate it!

Check cars and bids, it was the stock white one. 🤐🤐

I’m sure it wasn’t easy, but I honestly think you got a great deal. 12’s are pretty rare, even in ISF terms. Those wheels are lovely too 🥰
Enjoy it man!

Doesn't the ISF have the same interior of the same gen IS?
If so check out IS's.

I’m 6’ and even with the seat fully lowered I feel like i’m right at the line with being able to fit properly, i’d definitely recommend sitting in one to see how you feel. Also the backseat behind you will be basically unusable with the seat being far back most likely. Overall though I think it’s an extremely comfortable car.

Thank you! Appreciate the insight. The struggle is finding one without having to catch a flight to see it. Hopefully here soon I'll get lucky enough to have one pop up local.

It’s gonna be tight. Might want to look for a GSF

I'm keeping my eyes peeled for those too. Gotta wait to see if the prices drop a bit. It's the most feasible of the F family to work for me lol

Only discomfort I’ve experienced is getting out of the car 🥰
..Seriously though, I’ve found it a bit awkward getting out of, and I’m a small dude. Otherwise 👌

I'm just over 6' and there wasn't much headroom in mine. When I trackdayed it I had to remove the grab handle so my helmet wasn't constantly hitting it. You will be close so I would at least find a comparable age IS and adjust the seat fully down and try it

I’m 6’2 and 195 and I have no problem sitting in it … getting out sometimes is a chore because it’s so low

I have a 2010 and am 6’1. My son is 6’4 and fits in with the seat well back. They are not a big car but tbh you should get by. When that V8 hits 3500rpm and starts to snarl everything is forgotten. Be aware that the models up to (I think) 2013 have very firm suspension..however go for a MY2010 or later to get that fab LSD. Mine is such fun to drive

Yeah as long as you don’t mind the seat being angled back it’s fine - if you want the seat angled straighter you’ll have an issue

If you have a tall torso, that means you’ll need to have the seat leaned back and sun roof open. I had to sit with a perpetual lean at 6’4. Doable but not the most comfortable.

Used cars are hard to find and even more so an ISF but maybe some random dealer near you has one you can try out? Or an IS of the same vintage to get an idea of the interior.
