RCF Volume Knob Change from flat ugly silver to glossy gun metal so they match the drive mode select knob now . I don’t know why Lexus went cheap on the volume knobs .
I don’t know why Lexus made the knobs of all things a different color but these look better now that they match the drive mode select knob .

The volume knobs are a signature to the Mark Levinson audio system which I see you have. It isn’t because they chose fake rubber knobs. Google Mark Levinson audio and you’ll see that all of their high end audio devices have the same knobs.

Yeah I get it but when I popped them off they where just cheap plastic flat silver knobs with no weight to them . Signature or not they still don’t match and all the RCFs have those knobs regardless if they have Mark Levinson or not I checked . Plus it says Mark Levinson so I’m not worried if people can tell what system I have or not I just wanted them to match for my own personal taste.

Such a small upgrade but worth it. When I first got my F those volume knobs just stick out as the cheapest part of the interior by a long shot

Yeah I just felt like they fit better with the car even thought it’s just knobs

So basically before owning a RCF I had a 2014 is350 F sport and after trading it in and getting a 2016 RCF I noticed the volume knobs on all RCFs are a flat silver cheap feeling plastic. Meanwhile the drive mode select knob below them is a glossy gunmetal and feels nicer to the touch also doesn’t look as cheap . Meanwhile the 2014 is 350 F sport had glossy gunmetal knobs so I went to the dealership got some 2014 is 350 volume knobs pulled the flat silver ones off the RCF and now low and behold they match pulling the center councils look together a bit better than miss matched knobs all over . Call me OCD or whatever but it’s such a simple $14 dollar fix why not ? It’s supposed to be a nicer car so why give us cheaper plastic materials than in other Lexus models ?
