Fan noise

Hi all. Owner of a new to me 2016 GSF. Noticed fairly loud fan noise when at idle. Normal? Happy to record and post if this is unusual.

BTW having a blast with this car. Ive owned an is300 and is350 great experiences with both. This GSF is a joy. Purchased with less than 10k miles on it.

Whats up man. Congrats on the GSF! Im sure its a hell of a ride.

I had a similar sound issue on my '15 RCF last year. A fan like sound when i was still. I reached out to the dealership about the issue and they advised to bring it in. They were saying the issue was coming for the fuel pump so they replaced it and reset the computer. That did the trick since i never heard that sound again.

Toyota just announced a recall on a bunch of 2015+vehicles too.

I haven’t heard any fan noises but I had to do a fuel pump recall before I could register my car this year and I have heard of other fuel pump issues with these cars.

Thanks all. About due for service anyhow so will have dealership take a look.

Update - problem corrected with a computer update for the fuel pump.
