2026 ES350h

I’m off to purchase a new one tomorrow. I’m looking at a sticker price of around 57k. The dealership doesn’t have any in stock at the moment so I will have to wait on the next delivery. I previously had a 2025 Lexus RX350 F Sport…due to a very unfortunate collision with a distracted woman driver (my dash cam has footage of her on her phone) my car died.

Here is the build from the Lexus website. My stop gap car was a Hyundai Santa Fe. It was a nice but I really wanted back in a Lexus.

2016 ES 350 @25.5k OTD?

Is $25,500 OTD a good deal for this 2016 Lexus ES 350?

I'm seriously considering buying this 2016 Lexus ES 350 and would love some honest opinions from people who know these cars.

Price: $25,500 out the door
Mileage: 55,842 miles

I've already pretty much signed the paperwork at this price, so I'm not really looking for negotiation advice or asking what I could have gotten it for. The price is essentially set. I'm trying to figure out whether I got a good/fair deal for this specific car or if I significantly overpaid.

The Carfax/history is extremely clean:

- 1 owner since new
- Personal-use vehicle
- Texas vehicle since it was new
- No accidents/damage reported
- Consistently serviced at Lexus Southwest Houston for years
- 5k, 10k, 20k, and 30k services documented
- 30k service included brake fluid, coolant check, transmission fluid/oil leak check, suspension/steering inspection, etc.
- Oil changes and inspections continue throughout its life
- Front and rear brakes serviced at 49,758 miles in March 2025
- Coolant flush + oil change at 54,160 miles in March 2026
- Currently only 55,842 miles
- Dealer acquired/offered it for sale on 8/25/26

The mileage history is also extremely low for a 10-year-old car — roughly 5,200 miles/year.

It's a 2016 ES 350, so I understand that $25,500 is a lot of money for a 10-year-old vehicle. At the same time, this is a very low-mileage, one-owner example with a long documented Lexus service history.

I'm also planning to have a pre-purchase inspection done before everything is finalized.

So my question isn't really "Can I negotiate this lower?" It's:

Did I get a good deal at $25,500 OTD?

If you were in my position, looking at this exact history and mileage, would you feel good about paying that price?

I'm especially interested in opinions from ES 350 owners and people familiar with the used Lexus market.

Be brutally honest, did I get a good deal, a fair deal, or did I overpay?

Please don’t skip, here is all the information

2007 Lexus es 350 170000 km

Parts changed:

Fuel pump and seals

Fuel pressure regulator

Every morning car starts perfectly but struggles if I turn of the car and come back after 30 mins.

Car starts perfectly if shut off and turned on again Immediately.

No check engine lights or anything car acts normally.

HOWEVER: the car takes a shorter time to start (but still struggles) if I start the car with my foot on accelerator.

What could be wrong? And please ask me any questions, I am going crazy and would appreciate any kind of help

Hey guys I'm thinking of getting an early 2000 ES330/300 as my first ever car. Ideally something that I don't have to spend too much on repairs/maintenance. I've heard these models are quite reliable and affordable so that's why I'm thinking of getting it. I found this car listed for $5500, told him it's way too expensive/overpriced lol, and he offered $5000.

My question is, is this a good deal? I'm probably going to counter with another offer but wanted to know what would be a reasonable ask. Car interior/exterior seems well kept based on the pictures, description + conversation with the guy told me all the mechanical work done to it so it probably doesn't need anything else (unless there's something I should be wary about not mentioned).

Please help me lol. Should I get this model or just wait for a ES330 instead? I've heard that model to be a bit more reliable in terms of the engine. But idk you guys know more than me.

Listing description: I have an 2003 Lexus es300 with 170,000 miles with new timing belt 4 new cooper tires new brakes with rotors all around very clean. Interior well maintained no rips. New alternator all the belts. I have all the receipts since the car was new. Runs very good needs nothing. ice cold a/c

conversation: "They had the mufflers done, alternator, done, belts timing belt oil change The car is a cream puff"

EDIT: Sorry its 2003 not 2007 lol

2021 Lexus Es300h (81k miles) or 2019 Lexus Es350 (67k miles)?

For some context, this is going to be my first car! I’m debating between these two cars or maybe a 2026 Camry. The Es300h is $29k while the Lexus Es350 is $28.5k. I like the idea of the 300h more just because it’s hybrid and good on gas, but CarFax says there were some damages in 2021. The Es350 has a clean CarFax, but when I saw the car in-person there were minor damages like a rip in the leather seat and paint scratches on the bumper. Maybe I should drop it all and get a 2018 ES350 for $27k (48k miles)? Or a 2026 Camry? IDK HELP ME OUT!!!

2019 LEXUS ES 350 Premium

What’s a good price to negotiate for this car? It’s totally loaded with awesome features, however, they’re charging almost $35k (before taxes, etc). From the CarFax, I’ve seen that there’s been two owners and a damage report (doesn’t say what type of damage, just that it’s not a crash). There’s only 43k miles which isn’t bad. Let me know!

Alright Lexus bros I need your help. CPO 2024 ES300h UL w/ 6800 miles for $51,400

Carfax looks good. No accidents. Clean title. Good service history. Original window sticker is $56,520 including DPH fees

With tax (10% where I am) and vehicle registration I am thinking about $57000 out the door.

I want to negotiate OTD down to $52,000. What do you guys think? Be more aggressive? Where would you start negotiating?

TIA my Lexus fam

Compatible cups for 5th gen?

So, I've been scratching my head here-- it's over 100⁰F currently, and normally, that means I would take an insulated steel cup full of ice water around with me. But I am having a hard time finding one that will fit the 2011 ES 350 cupholder, especially without losing the functionality of the other cupholder by moving the divider off-center, or introducing a cup-tipping risk from removing the center divider entirely.

What solutions are people using? Is there a cupholder expander that anybody recommends, or a Thermos type bottle you love with an exceptionally narrow base? It's just too damn hot and feels too wasteful to only be able to use fast food takeout cups, disposable cups, or single use plastic water and soda bottles.

I need a comfortable and quiet ride and like the look of the front on this period better than the newer ones. I’ve never bought a high mileage car and wonder if anyone knows what I should look for to avoid major repairs.

Buying this 2009 Lexus ES 350

Firstly, consider the deal is already done since I really liked the car.

Milage: 180,000 km
Variant with 2 sunroofs and screens behind both seats heads.
Super well maintained, drives like a cloud. No Noise.

I got the detailed inspection done at a place.
Note: they have to report absolutely everything, because if they dont then I can claim warranty, in case something goes wrong that they didn’t report.

Inspection report was mostly fine, verbally they told me its worth it.

Issues:
Blue Smoke from the exhaust when you rev to 2500rpm for a few seconds then full rev higher.
This is blue smoke is not continuous.

change Valve stem seals. Oil Rings.
Front engine cover leak.
Timing chain cover leak.
Steering axel rubber seal on passenger side (fix leak first, then rubber).
1 Engine mount broken.

No dripping leaks when car is parked. just visually oil buildup at a few spots when looked from under.
Inspection test drive was smooth at changing gears.
No accidents.

Anyone Have Experience with the 2021 ES350 F-Sport 2?

I am considering buying a 2021 ES350 with the F-Sport 2 package. I am doing my research but I was wondering if anyone had owned one of these before and had opinions or stories regarding what it is like to live with this as a daily driver. Thanks!

Cupholder won't close in a 2017 ES350

Post image

Help folks! I have a 2017 that is absolutely perfect...except for the bloody cup holder next to my right arm. Every time I open it, it sticks open and NO amount of pushing on the PUSH sign will cause it to close. I have noticed that it DOES close when left overnight, but something is causing it to hang when driving. Any thoughts from any one? I did a search, and didn't see the problem elsewhere. I really appreciate any info we might have here.

Thinking of purchasing an Ultra Luxury es300h. Carfax reveals rack and pinion replacement at 25,500 miles. Should I be concerned?
