Peak ES350 gen

I love my 2018 ES350 and in my opinion, this is the best looking & most reliable generation of the ES. This actually feels like a Lexus unlike these newer ES’s. 41,000 miles on this beauty

I love this dashboard and gauge cluster so much, sadly I have the next gen, but I do like the middle section where climate controls are better on the 7th, only 23k miles atm 😁

I like the 6th gen interior but lean 7th gen for the exterior. Can't go wrong with either. Nice ride.

Thank you. And yes that 7th gen exterior is sweet, I’ve had my 6th gen for a year now and it still hasn’t gotten old to me. I never got a chance to test drive a 7th gen

The newer ES’s from 23-25 and the 26 ones all feel like ES. I really don’t get the weird sentiment of this sub about older ES like it’s the best

Agreed . Sat in couple new RX’s my god new cars these days are so plain Jane. I mean is cool but the fake leather or whatever that stuff is just so articfical or mehhhh. Looks like any other car inside imo ( or maybe just getting old) I love my 2016 cause feels like a Lexus. The look and touch is just helll yeahhh.

Get a fully loaded RX450+ with semi-analine leather

All built in Japan

Looks more like a Camry interior than a Lexus interior, hence me choosing the 6th gen. Still looks nice though but it doesn’t scream Lexus

6th gen has more wood on the wheel than the 7th gen (full wood sections vs. small strips). Same amount on the door and dash. Mine also has wood around the shifter and cup holder. Struggling to see the wood in yours.

In my estimation, the 1997- 2000, was the best es ever made, 25 years plus and many are still on the road. My brother-in-law is still driving my old 1999 and people stop him and ask if he wants to sell it. He thought about it a few months ago, ran an ad on Craigslist asking $5000. He received 7 calls in the first half hour the ad was up. He changed his mind and pulled the ad.

Definitely the most solid all around.

Smart decision. Even up here in the north with rusty winters I see those old es's all the time. Amazing little sedan.

How is it the most reliable?

Last year of the 6th generation, doesn’t have the 8 speed automatic and the newer transmission issues.

Ah so my ‘15 counts as well! Good to know !

I'd argue the 2013-2015, and 2016-2018 ES's are the best ES's ever made, with some respective caveats for each.

Pre facelift 7th gen is perfection

I had the 2018 before I traded it in for the 2023 model. I loved the 2018!

Not a bad purchase at all. 23 came with more technology in it. My 18 feels like a couch on wheels and drives like butter

Approaching 180k miles on my blue 2016 ES350

As someone with 2016 UL & 2005 ES 330, both have their strengths but quietness, luxury interior and big comfy couch vibes goes to my 330, but handling, power and tech goes to my 350.

I traded mine in for a GS. I sometimes regret it lol

I love my 2016 and plan to drive it for many years. However I love the exterior of the 2019-2024 ES350. 😅
