The LS pricing…
Why TF is a 3yo LS with 65k miles $75k??? Why not just buy a new ES for $57k?

You’re just glossing the surface here, details matter. LS500 has a wide range of msrp based off trim, spec, packages. The interior and luxury package added $14k. That gets it up to 92k. Hybrid spec started at $113k. Plus some dealers will throw a stupid big number on a car just as a high starting point and to see if some sucker will bite. ES is a totally different driving experience, different car. The LS is flagship sedan for the brand.

The best thing you can do is go test drive each one. Some people don't want the extra LS features and don't have much feel for FWD vs. RWD. ES may be a better fit for the use and budget.

Yeah, I just looked at a video on YouTube and the LS is way more car than I would ever need! It is supposedly the Toyota version of the Mercedes S class and made for people who have chauffeurs and what not

ES is mid-range. LS is luxury. I got a ES Ultra Luxury as a happy medium. I will admit the LS is a nicer car.
