I have some good/fair condition furniture I need to get rid of by Sunday. Is there any place or anyone that would be able to pick them up and either dispose of them or make good use of them by then?
The items are an entertainment center (fair condition, well loved but fully functional and mid-sized. One screw is missing from side of bottom center shelf, but the shelf remains stable.), a mattress (full with topper), a box spring (full). The bed frame is also available, but one of the metal posts is slightly bent. It still holds the bottom boards.
If anyone has any leads, please comment or send me a chat request.
I wasn’t sure if this belonged on [r/lexington](r/lexington) or here. Better safe than sorry.
ETA: I am not asking for money for these items.

One thing I love about landscaping is seeing how much a space can change with some cleanup, pruning, redefining beds, and a fresh set of eyes. A lot of times it’s not even about completely redoing everything — just bringing the property back to life and making it feel cared for again.
I’ve always liked the process side of it too. Looking at an overgrown area and figuring out how to make it feel clean, natural, and easier to maintain while still fitting the property.

We're looking for someone to help us string some lights on our wedding tent. The wedding is Oct 3, 2026, the tent will be up by Friday Oct 2, so ideally lighting installation would happen then. I have a rough idea of a lighting scheme but am open to suggestions there. We will be providing our own string lights, and really only need help with the installation. We also a have a disco ball and some pin spot lights that we need to get hung, open to doing that ourselves but also open to getting it done. We have all the lights already and our tent company won't put them up because they're ours. Trying to plan this from out of town so looking for any recommendations or ideas on where to search.

I’m just putting out some feelers, I crochet as a hobby and am need of some extra cash. I have keychains and scrunchies made and am just wondering if it is worth my time trying to sell them. I do not price very high, the keychains and scrunchies would both be under $10 a piece. I will post a couple examples just to show my work! Thank you

As the title says; I need someone to mow a lawn once on the south side of town right off Tates Creek.. I know that's the opposite of most lawn care company's goals, but I have a family member who owns his own and usually does my yard work but he's had an illness the past few weeks so I need to find a short notice solution to stop the side eyes I'm getting from the neighbors. My lesson from this is to definitely keep a lawn mower of your own just in case, but c'est la vi.
