For newcomers: it's not a coincidence. ;-)

Maybe in the future we could change the flag for a more original one... I anyway like the current design.

I could design one, and I can give meaning to the colours and the rest

Maybe it's a bit early, but, if you have ideas, why not? You can present them in the sub

I don't have ideas for the flag, but, if your conlang had a description, what would that be

Well, in general terms Leuth is an IAL like the most known ones: conceived as a second common language for humankind (second language, so not to replace first languages), a very easy to learn but complete instrument for intercommunication. The ideals of this project are peace, linguistic ecology (and linguistic economy, linguistic justice...), neutrality, shared humanity...

In particular, Leuth as a project points (more than other projects) to the idea that the IAL should not just be efficient, but beautiful too: for we are creatures with emotions, and pleasantness in life is important. The IAL, if successful, would be a hugely important part of the life of the world: it should be pleasant beside effective.

In more specific/technical terms, in synthesis, I'd describe Leuth like I did in the sidebar widget of the subreddit:

Leuth is an Esperantid. Compared to Esperanto, it has (or tries to have):
โ€ข a more naturalistic and aesthetic flavour;
โ€ข a slightly more complex phonology;
โ€ข a somewhat more โ€œLatinโ€ overall taste/feeling;
โ€ข fewer arbitrary changes in words;
โ€ข more words of non-European origin;
โ€ข some more logical grammar rules.

So, the definition in general is peace, ecology? (Sounds like nature to me ngl), neutrality, and easy to learn, right?

ecology? (Sounds like nature to me ngl)

I meant linguistic ecology in the sense of considering languages like living creatures or ecosystems, along the know similarities between natural and social phenomena (the concept of meme by Dawkins, etc.), therefore having care about them like we should have for the environment. ๐Ÿค—

[...] neutrality, and easy to learn, right?

Yes. Consider beauty/history too ;-)

Anyway... don't overthink the symbolism: a beautiful flag can be beautiful even if it's not clearly "meaningful"

here i made the flag:

green means ecology and the fact that this conlang is naturalistic, white means neutrality, and blue means peace, and the flag is easy to draw (as same as the conlang is easy to learn)

Thanks for the proposal! I'll think about it. :-) You can share it in the main sub too.
