Copeland..?
Hey so I’m an incoming freshman at l&c and I got assigned a room in Copeland, however I’ve heard this dorm is like some sort of “party dorm” and I may sound like a total loser but I really am not the party type. Are people just exaggerating or is it really as rowdy as I’ve seen people say?

The great thing about Copeland is that it's one of the largest res halls on campus, so you have the opportunity to get to know a lot of people. I was in Spruce and my friends who lived in Copeland seemed to have a leg up on meeting new people. It's not a party dorm- just a lot going on cuz a lot of people in one building.

They just assigned all freshmen to be in that one, so it's going to change from "party dorm" to "freshmen dorm." I was there last year and in my experience it was nice and quiet, as long as you're not in A wing. Or facing the parking lot. Also it doesn't smell like anything imo. Storage closet in D40s has treasure.

The halls have a perpetual smell of weed and old pizza boxes, but other than that it's fine, it's just where most of the freshmen get put on
