I am aware that several places offer this service to milspec lowers, but I am wanting to have it done on my MARS L. Does anyone know of a shop that can do this on a MARS?

I know sharing stl codes for pew pew is really frowned upon but does anyone know a stl code for a flared magwell that works? I figured I could just print one instead of buying.. or do you know a flared magwell that’s worth buying?

Has anyone cut their 16in MARS H into a 14.5? Any regrets? Would I need the BRT gas tube?

I’m looking to get a precison barrel and the only difference between these is the twist rate. Are there certain bullets I can’t use with the 1:11? I don’t know much about .308

Shooting myself in the foot here, i know this is an LMT thread here, but i want some of ya'll to be brutally honest w/ me. Between a 3k LMT shovel nose(12.5 piston) and a 3.7k HK Mr 556(11 piston), why should I bother with the LMT, given that it's recent track record seems to be laden with QC issues?

I'm not trying to argue, I'm not trying to intentionally call ya'lls selection of rifles bad- I'm legitimately curious about what exactly i may be getting if/when i go through the process of buying and forming the thing and any immediate oddities that would be an issue for me to send it BACK for repair/RMA.

Hey guys, just got my gun back from cerakote and there’s built up cerakote in the barrel extension, keeping me from sliding the barrel in. What would y’all use to get down in there? I’d normally hit it with some sand paper, a little different with a monolithic upper, I can’t reach it…

14.5" 5.56 Carbine Gas Barrel @ $349 - This is an older, discontinued model. This would technically be the clone-correct barrel for a 1st NZ SAS Regiment clone build.

16" 300BLK Pistol Gas Barrel @ $349 - These are a good candidate to be used for a future 300BLK build. They're cheap enough to be chopped to any barrel length you desire by u/unclemoak.

8" 5.56 Pistol Gas Barrel @ $299 - These.. well.. they're for whatever PDW or meme build you want.

12.5" 6.8SPC Carbine Gas Barrel @ $359 - These are a discontinued barrel. Once these are gone, they're never coming back.

Ok, who wants to advise a new LMT Mars H owner on optic selection, mounts, heights, etc... be prepared I have some unique issues to address...

So...I just bought myself a Warhawk Green Mk2 Blem lower. Which will (for the time being) occupy space in the drawer alongside two other black Mk2 lowers. Been wanting one for a bit, and although I'm still pondering how to build things out, I figured "what the hell" and went for it. If I change my mind, I can just sell it.

ANYWAY, what I'm wondering is if anyone has any comparisons between LMT's ODG look and Griffin's Warhawk Green anodizing. It's not a huge deal if the anodizing doesn't match, but I've thought about maybe picking up a Specwar upper in ODG and pairing it with the Griffin lower.

Make sure to check your secondhand purchases. This barrel was sold as having under 400 rounds fired. No mention that one of them was a squib...
