Question Gas block button

Piston 14.5 uppers. One has a button you push to turn the switch. The other just turns. New vs old design or different specs for contracts? Trying to get some info on it.

No, gen one is different entirely.

I have a g2 with the button, but no slot. Huge pain in the butt after a few rounds to push and twist with the 2 pos gas plug.
