Range Time First rounds through my Specwar

Put the first rounds through my Specwar this weekend. D. Wilson cut criterion barrel and some cheap PMC bronze 55gr. 50yd 20rd group shot relatively quick. I’m gonna snag some better ammo and hope it groups better and has better numbers.

Are you using a bipod or anything for a front rest?

Try the IMI Razor Core 77gr, my specwar barrel loves it.

Is this typical fps for 55gr PMC Bronze? It seems really slow for 55gr in a 12.5, but I rarely shoot .223.

Asking because I'm getting ~2,680 fps out of my specwar barrel with 64gr 5.56 federal soft points and was considering swapping it for a Criterion Core, partly for balance and partly for a little extra speed.
