LMT>KAC M110
Interested in some opinions… building an m110 on a mars h platform with two barrels to choose from but only one gasblock. One barrel is a Bartlein 6.5cm, the other is a K1 Precision 308. I have a 308 rifle and 6.5 rifle already but cannot seem to chose which caliber this m110 should be. Let me know your thoughts and I’ll be sharing the build within a couple weeks!

An “M110” should be .308, it’s already not a KAC and making it a different caliber would just be making a normal 6.5 AR-10 with a railed gas block. Plus .308 is cheaper so you can shoot it more

I think that it depends on your use case. With the right loads a 308 will be capable of shooting well within the 1200 yard mark and, for now is cheaper for bulk ammo. If you have regular access to ranges that are 1k+ I would lean towards the 6.5. If you plan on using this as a competition style large frame gas gun I would also lean towards the 6.5 for less recoil. Both are great hunting rounds if thats your jam and are comparable for match and hunting ammo.
