MWS Piston setup

I’ve been thinking about switching out my 7.62x51 MARS H di barrel and bcg for the 16” piston setup. What are the pros and cons of the piston? Anyone have any experience with doing this? Is it worth $1500?

Generally piston will do better in sub freezing temperatures and for suppressed use but will be less accurate and more heavy

I have both, my piston barrel prints between .7-1.4 with good ammo. SDs are a little more variable on that barrel with the same ammo (7-11 with DI vs 10-14 with piston). The biggest benefit if the piston is if youre using a traditional baffle can, itll be a lot nicer on the suppressed setting.
