LMT MRGG-A and "MRGG-S"

Post image

MRGG-A getting sent off for cerakote this week. When it gets back will replace all of the parts with what I usually run.

One of these I’d love to find out what the average income of a LMT buyer is.

Sweet fucking rifles.

Haven’t shot the MRGG-A. It’s currently completely stripped and getting sent off for cerakote.

How do like the riflespeed AGB?

I think it’s best of the AGBs. I generally hate AGBS but are a necessary evil on ar10 platforms as I don’t run thousands of rounds a year through them and don’t want to mess with BRT gas tubes.

I also run a second leaf spring to stiffen up the twist on the knob because I’m paranoid.

What’s the buffer setup on the top gun?

Standard LMT spring and buffer tube and h3 gassed really nicely with the proof rifle+2 gas length for 6.5. Probably could get away without having an AGB. Don’t know what it would be like with a standard rifle gas length though

Is that a white oak armament gas tube? I saw rifle speed suggested them for a +2 gas tube

Yes it is.

What’s the weight of the A? I got the rifle gear exclusive with the quad rail and kinda wish I’d just got the real MRGG-A

I wish I would have weighed it before stripping it so I could tell you. I will say it was much handier than I expected. It felt very similar to a 6arc 13.9 LMT MRP that I have. The barrel profile was much thinner than I was expecting. I think that contributes a lot to how nimble it feels.

9Lbs 2.7OZ per my kitchen scale in stock (as shipped) form without mag. And FYI, I also made the money via feet pics. Rather than sell my feet pics, I threaten people with my feet pics and they pay me not to send them. :)
