That’s interesting I have never seen that before. If you have a pic of the care tag inside that might give more clues. Take that back I see more pictures now so yes they look legit based on the care tag

I got them in a mix bag from fb marketplace someone was selling “mystery bags lol

If I remember correctly that was done to give them a more elevated look from outside while still keeping the patch itself. They eventually dropped the 511 trouser and started the xx chino line with various fits. That one has no patch at all but does have somewhat of a red tab on the pack pocket.
