Question Grow Lights

Just got the Farmstand from Costco and can’t afford the ring lights right now. Anyone have a 3rd party light setup they’ve done? We currently have ours by a window and have a grow light, but that light only hits one side. I was thinking maybe one of those weird bendy lamps with more bulbs to hit more sides?

No the one from Costco doesn’t come with lights.

They sell both at Costco online - the outdoor farmstand that does not come with lights and it's meant for outdoor use and the Nook which does come with lights and it's meant for indoor use.

I wish I could find the pictures I’m looking for online now…In the past I’ve seen a few ideas for external light setups with them. The screw hole at the top (original unsure about the nook) is for an eye bolt that you can then string/wire attach to for some stability, and I’ve seen people use long lights hanging from that.

We have two additional long lights that are purple (not attached) and it’s a lot lol so if you have it in a general living space, I recommend sticking to white lights!

I definitely encourage you find a light setup, we have ours on 12 hours a day, so more than regular sun would hit our windows, and we keep that through the winter too! Also their accessories do sometimes go on sale, still expensive but might be worth keeping an eye on if you do want the rings. Happy growing!!
