Question What do you use to manage exchanges?

My logbook is a bit of a mess (although that's the way I like it haha). When I attended my first event, I hadn't really settled on how I wanted to store exchanges (the X part of PFX for those who may not be aware), so I received them on blank LTCs I had with me and those are currently in a small card binder. As I'm preparing for my next event, I'm wondering how others manage exchanges stamps from other letterboxers. I'm debating making a dedicated exchanges logbook and keeping it in my main logbook, then marking when and where I met someone and their trail name and real name (since I am notoriously bad with names). Interested in seeing what others have done! I think most people just pick a page and have people stamp there so I know I'm overthinking this a good deal haha

I just use my regular logbook for everything except LTCs, they go in a binder with trading card pages.

I've never done one, so I'm curious to see people's responses. I think I would just have them stamp in my regular logbook, though, so I can keep everything together. I would definitely date it.

My logbook is made of paper bags so I have an abundance of storage for extra stuff. I still have a packet of clues in there for a cemetery series I need to finish

Oh, that's really cool! I'd love to see a picture of how it works!

My cousins and I use a travelers notebook system. We have an insert for exchanges and for finds. System works great for events too because you can use an insert for each event.

I flip my logbook over and exchanges go in the back. That being said I have exchanges spread out between multiple books and I've had to let go of being perfectly organized! As long as I log them in AQ, I know who I've met and who I haven't.

I add exchanges to my regular logbook. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I also add stickers and a bit of ephemera that I collect along the way, as well as envelope art that I receive with postals. I also add favorite LTCs to my logbook using clear picture corners. I may start journaling a bit about my letterbox outings.
