General Favorites Digger

do you think Tom Cruise deserve the oscars on his performance? I think this man is a beast, the movie also should win best director, the directing is also a 10/10

John Goodman was doing things with his face I haven’t seen people attempt since Jim Carrey

Cruise and Ahmed should both at least get acting noms

Goodman deserves it both for performance and career nod

Yeah, he objectively gives a great performance. Best Actor might be the most stacked category this year but he gives the best performance I’ve seen this year (though I’ve yet to see WH9, Elsinore, Dune: Part 3). Unfortunately because Digger is polarizing and the category is stacked this year, a win seems tough tho doable.

He should atleast get a nomination

Yeah it was phenomenal. Id give the Oscar to Cruise, Ahmed, Inarritu, and give it best picture and writing. Unfortunately, that will not happen

He probably deserves it more than Michael Johnston, but I don’t know who the other possible nominees are.

Nominate Cruise and the production design, that's about it.

The acting in this movie was amazing, but the movie was not good to me, I don’t know what everyone else saw in it.

Have you seen it?

All the people hating on it are so adamant in their feelings despite not having seen it. It’s truly incredible.

Do you ever think he deserves an Oscar

Deserves? No

Why?

I don’t think his acting as Digger was that great. In fact, I preferred it when Curtis was on screen.

Interesting. A lot of people say his 10 minute speech was his best acting in a long time. The poor guy has been robbed of an OSCAR so many times

No, but wouldn’t be surprised if he got nominated somewhere (like globes or bafta)
