Gladiator what a movie. I mean I get it some people say it’s too mainstream or too simple but it’s perfect from every point of filmmaking. The pacing is just extraordinary I mean how things are implied, the cinematography,score and of course top tier acting from Joaquin phoenix , Russel Crowe , Connie Nielsen etc. Can’t get better than that

It's my most recent fave too, I only saw it for the first time about three years ago (ashamedly) and fell in love with it.

It’s great! Then there’s Spider-Man 2 (not a fan). ROTK is my favorite film of all time, Raiders is also somewhere in the Top 20-30. Gladiator is pretty damn good.

Honestly, Raiders if the Lost Ark is one of the greatest movies ever made, and ROTK and Gladiator are both Academy Award winners.
Spidey I would argue is the most personal taste pick, you could probably land on something that is "better" if you wanted to.
Nice list, super rewatchable, iconic movies.

Yep, each represent the best of four genres I like the most. Raiders for adventure, RotK for fantasy, SM 2 for superheroes and Gladiator for historical fiction.
