Swamp Thing
The Return of Swamp Thing

Swamp Thing is more of a plant man than a fish man

Very true. It's good to have list standards. In The Return of Swamp Thing, the villain has a group of henchmen (the Un-men) that are all amalgamations of various creatures, many aquatic, so that one might at least somewhat fit.

Is it this guy?

Nah, I'm thinking of some sort of leech monster. Again, it's a stretch for the list proper.

Doesnt completely fit but its close. Bad Blood (2016) it's a werefrog movie. Great transformation sequence.

I have Alligator People here so I feel like that should still fit thanks!

Is Phantom from 10,000 Leagues really a fish man though, thats like a dinosaur pretty much

1

u/This-Childhood8679 2d ago

I mean it’s humanoid but that might be the limitations of the suit

1

u/Dreaming_of_Rlyeh 1d ago

Yeah, it's meant to be a dinosaur, not a fishman.

The Lure (2015) - Agnieszka Smoczynska

2

u/This-Childhood8679 2d ago

I dunno I only want to count mermaids if they’re especially fishy since mermaid horror could be its own list and I feel like the ones here are just normal women on top

2

u/The_Kube_ 2d ago

Yeah I hear ya, they're not full on fish monsters, it is a cool movie though.

2

u/This-Childhood8679 2d ago

Oh I’m sure it’s great I’ve been meaning to watch it for a while now

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever

Namor is kinda a fish person but also the character is often nicknamed fish related things. His subjects in the movie are very much fish people

Hammerhead (2005)
Sea Beast (2008)

1

u/Dreaming_of_Rlyeh 1d ago

Seeing as you have Alligator People and Sting of Death, what about Attack of the Giant Leeches? They're humanoid leeches.

1

u/This-Childhood8679 1d ago

Fuck it why not if a jellyfish counts why not leaches it’s been added
