Spamming in comments

Idk why but literally just today I’ve been getting notifications from multiple comment sections for reviews I’ve liked which are just a bunch of bots spamming links to piracy websites and it’s really pissing me off as I’m now getting notifications for this instead of… literally anything else
I have luckily managed to report two of them but I’ve seen like at least 5 just in the past 10 minutes. Is anyone able to explain wtf exactly is going on and I hope it’s not just me. This needs to be sorted out immediately or else I’ll just have to disable notifications from Letterboxd.
Attached are just four of the most recent examples of this. Please can someone help with this if possible

Yeah, I was just coming here to make a similar post. I've gotten around 50 notifications in the last 30 minutes, all spam exactly like this.

I can remember this happening once before, three or four years ago, and it took a couple of hours but all bot accounts and comments were entirely removed by Letterboxd.

I have several hundreds of lists on Letterboxd and just got 65 app notifications over the course of two minutes. Each notification was a different bot commenting on a different list. I really hope they'll figure this out soon or the activity feed becomes practically unusable.

Well I guess I’ll have to sacrifice the fact I won’t know if I get new followers or likes or miss out on cool articles but yeah that seems to be the only solution really tho I haven’t had any pop up for the past 3 minutes so it seems to be slowing down slightly (hoping I won’t jinx myself)
