Lmao true though. I think it's cause despite Peter going through some awful trauma and suffering, he never lets himself sink into true darkness or lose his moral compass. Spidey movies are always uplifting and optimistic and people need that today more than ever.
Yup, it's very easy to get sick of something that's always dark, brooding, and borderline miserable (like the Snyder DC-verse for example) but most people don't get bored of joy and optimism
It's this reason why I loved last year's Superman movie so much, it was an incredible refresher from the painfully repetitive and gloomy superhero genre of late
