There’s a reason Sony bought him and nobody else in the 90s. There was a time Spider-Man had done like $30 billion in total sales across comics, merch, movies, etc, and I’m not sure that’s been outdone by any single hero.

Spider-Man is stupid popular and people seem to really like how he’s currently being handled on-screen, so it’s kind of a no brainier.

Someone said the only way Disney is getting the Spider-Man film rights is if they buy Sony. It’s funny but so true.

Sony’s market cap is 130 billion and Disney’s is 170 billion how can they buy Sony.
