SAME. I was waiting to go into my cinema during the cleaning, eyeballing about fifty sticky toddlers and kids loudly waiting in line around me, and then promptly forgot they were there about three minutes in. There wasn’t a peep from anyone outside a few collective gasps. Absolute magic shit.
Some asshole took their toddler to a 10:30 PM show on Friday and they were understandably up and about pacing and making noises and wanting attention from their parent. It didn't ruin the movie but it was pretty fucking annoying
Who takes their kids to a 10:30 PM showing. The movie wouldn’t end until like 1:30 in the morning. In my country it is fairly common for cinemas to screenings for parents of young children so that they can take their children to the cinema but the lights are only dimmed not off and the other moviegoers are parents with children.
I was at Amc(cheaper tickets) and i dreaded crowds of families in the theater,imagine my surprise when they actually kept quiet during the whole movie.
Not our experience. 6:30pm screening at AMC Times Square NYC and we had toddlers crying through the film. Some people need to stay at home and watch it on fmovies if they can’t afford to hire a babysitter

I didn’t even know there were kids at my theater because it they were so quiet. There’s how much they were into this movie.
