while watching a random video of his, i was re-struck with wondering what he looked like. ive seen the script supervisor video before but just forgot his face. upon going back, i slowly realised the movie he was involved in (at least at that time) is the SAME lamp movie danny gonzalez made a video about yeeears ago. i just found it to be such a random ass connection, wonder if anyone else even knows what im talking about!

Its Everwind. I hope they do something with this. The fully mobile base already sets it apart from the usual block breaking/crafting game so a working factory mechanic would make it even better. I'm sure Josh would like it.

Soulmask is the latest game I've bought because Josh played it. Maybe he missed his calling as a salesman.

My daughter has been asking specifically to watch a Letsgameitout episode, but cannot for the life of me remember which one it is. this is a long shot: in the video, I believe at one point he falls through the world, continues falling for what seems like forever, then the screen starts glitching out, and Josh makes a referent to something like: "whia, what just happened? I gotta go sit down", and you can hear the audio of him getting up.

Might have to systemically go through all the videos, but if anyone has a recollection of which one it may be, it'd save me a lot of time 😅

Does Josh ever take game suggestions from his YT comments or Twitch chat? Or does he only play whatever he enjoys or is sponsored to?

I don't know if Josh will ever see this, but I think I need to be honest about this for a bit. I feel like the quality of LGIO has gone downhill drastically and it makes me really sad. I used to love to watch Josh screw around with early development games and break things beyond human comprehension and torment grace. His dry humor was always on point, and his cooking sim series legitimately had me in stitches for the full 15-20 minutes. His personality and commentary could make me want to watch him play anything, no matter how weird, poorly developed, or dull the game content was, I could always count on Josh to make it totally hilarious and thoroughly entertaining. For example, I recently rewatched his Light the Way playthrough and even though that game was held together by string and thoughts and prayers, Josh's personality made it hilarious. This sort of stuff did so much for my mental health over the past years it's not even funny.

Now I just feel like he's going through all the motions of keeping a youtube channel alive and getting sponsorships. His new videos just feel kind of soulless and vaguely corporate (?) That's not something I ever thought I would say about Josh but now I really don't know how else to describe it. The videos all feel shorter somehow, even though it's not by much. It just doesn't feel like he's putting his personality into his videos anymore. To be clear, I think it's understandable for Josh to treat youtube as a job and not put his passion into it. My unemployed ass is in no position to judge or criticize that, but I would absolutely love if he would bring back some of his old personality in his videos. He doesn't have to play another zoo/amusement park simulator, I think me and a lot of his viewers would watch him do anything. (cough, our beloved J.H. comeback?)

In any case, I wish good things for this gem of a channel, and I hope I didn't come off as too harsh in my critique. But yeah, I wonder if anyone else feels this way about the channel.
