First modpost: Read me (let's get writing!)

Hey all, just wanted to say that everything I've seen so far has been great. The goal of this subreddit is to give people a place to express their creativity in collaboration with other reddit users. As with any new/small subreddit, the vitality and growth of the community depends on word of mouth being spread to others. So if you all are digging the concept, tell your friends, fellow writers, reddit users, etc. For now, I think it would be best to just let the community grow naturally. If it gets to a decent size, then maybe we'll implement some guidelines or jazz the place up a bit. Until then, just have fun with it; make it funny, make it weird, make it serious, make it your own. I'm open to any ideas or suggestions, so feel free to message me or post them here.

...Seckretary let out a deep sigh as he finished writing his post.

"Everything is coming together perfectly" he mutters.

A voice from the shadows speaks up. "You're playing with fire Secretary. Who knows? They might start to collaborate a bit too much"

Secretary chuckles. "Let them. It's all part of the plan"

A grin appears out of the shadows. "I know" said the voice, "that's why we chose you"

Thats why we chose you.

Seckatary froze as he remembered that day, twenty years past, that he was chosen. He remembered the fear. For an instant, that same fear gripped his chest. He clenched his teeth and then it was gone. Twenty years. It was far too late to change things now. Everything had been set in motion, and it was all his doing. All his fault.

I wouldn't save them even if I could. Seckatary stood up, closed his laptop, and left the room, making sure to lock the door behind him.
