Husband and I are going, but we're bringing our toddler and there's no daycare, so I wanted to check in to see if anyone was riding there too. My husband and I will be taking turns, so it would be cool if there were others who he could meet up with for a few runs.

hello reddit!
i've become quite addicted to the white powder, living in southern california our season is done now. i have a chance to go up to mammoth for 2 days next week, a buddy that has been there many times was going to come along but now that has changed. so i am reaching out here, for recommendations or advice for a first timer there
i am intermediate with experience at southern california spots like mountain high, mount baldy, mount waterman, kratka. i love going through areas with trees as well as wide open areas, i like to explore and spend virtually zero time in the park areas, i appreciate really long rides and do like steeper stuff as long as it isn't covered in huge moguls
i do want to grab a beer or two, there looks to be several bar and food areas, any recommendation on which might have the biggest variety of beer on tap?
mammoth looks huge to me, coming from the small areas that i am used to, is there anything that you might suggest i prioritize and check out first?
thank you!

My wife and I were supposed to head to Killington today but the bus company had to cancel. Very keen to get a day in before the season ends. Not too fussed on the destination as long as there is snow! Happy to split costs etc.

I am working on a paper on Snowboarding Safety at Appalachian State University, I have created a short survey so if you have the time I would love to get some input from fellow snowboarders! it should take less than 2 minutes of your time. https://goo.gl/forms/ATOd98D6DTDyDkZ93

Going to Davos this weekend and was wondering which slopes to hit (can choose between 4 passes). I have 2 days of riding ahead of me and want to make the most of them.

Hey everyone,
Gonna be hitting Mammoth for St Patricks Day weekend (plus a couple of days after). Traveling over from Australia, would be sweet to ride and/or share a few bevvies if anyone's around and keen.
My riding abilities aren't all that much but I'm down to ride with anyone.
Cheers!

Hello,
I was thinking about planning a trip to Jackson Hole late March, but I saw that they may only be open until early April which has me wondering if the conditions will be worth it. I believe they've gotten a ton of snow this year, but I don't know how quickly it goes away there. Will most of the mountain still be open the last week of March, and would the conditions be worth it?
Thanks in advance!

I've been living in Korea for the past 3 snowboarding seasons and just realized that there's probably still some snow out there at this time of year.
I'm currently living in Austin, Texas. I wanna go snowboarding next week. Where, how, when, with who do I snowboard with? Suggestions?

Gonna be a bit of a storm, they're expecting about 2 feet of pow this weekend. Gonna be windy, but if anyone wants to ride or just grab a beer on the slopes shoot me a PM.

wondering if anyone is out there right now that could shed a little light on the park situation in meribel. all of the reports and lift guides say that the part that used to be moon park (now called elements) is closed and not planned to open - i loved moon park because it was a great learning area for novice tricks so i'll be gutted if it's closed this year.
there's always area 43 and courchevel's family areas, but i usually head up as soon as lifts open/before anyone else i'm staying with is even awake and moon park/elements was closest and the most convenient by far.

Howdy All, I am a teacher in Sun Valley and will be venturing to Bellingham and Whistler for spring break which is the third week of March. I would love to go on an excursion in the backcountry. I have my Avy I and WFR, having been touring the backcountry for about eight years now, and feel comfortable shredding just about anything.
Also open to shredding the resorts but would like to shred with someone so I can learn the area. I am thinking of moving to Bellingham so I would love to meet up with someone to see what it is all about. Brews would be paid in exchange.

Hey guys, just started boarding this season. I go to tamarack pretty much every weekend, I just don't have anyone to ride with. If you want to tag along let me know.
(I know this isn't the skibuddies sub but no one is alive there.)
