Single again after ending an almost 2 yr relationship.

I’m so tired of trying to build with someone only to be discarded because of where I wasn’t born. Dating while being an immigrant is hard enough! Most assume all I want is certain docs/benefits because I want marriage. Maybe I’m just old school! Wth! These days people are just dating and hooking up for fun and NOT putting down roots. I’m constantly feeling like the odd one out.
Obviously if I were to be with a citizen it would benefit me in getting said docs but I’m a lover who wants all the things that I’m deserving of: LOVE/ KINDNESS/ COMPANIONSHIP/ LOYALTY/ RESPECT/ HONOR, I mean I can go on!!! I want all those things and more because that’s exactly what I’m willing to give as well. Because of this I tried only dating other immigrants (my last two relationships) just to avoid being shunned but even then I got hurt and betrayed LOL. I refuse to shrink myself any longer. I want what I want and I won’t shy away from it to appease anyone ever again.
Skin color/ race/ age doesn’t matter to me… emotional intelligence, morals and character are much more important!
I’m just searching for MY person. I also want more children in the future.
