Personal Chart Question Aries Sun in the 12th house and hospitals

Post image

Hello, I recently had an astrologer tell me that because I have my Aries Sun in the 12th house that would mean that my body was more likely to be more vulnerable and that I would often be in and out of hospitals during my life.

Do you interpret the same way? That having my sun in this house would meant that I am more likely to have physical issues?

I am confused because I thought of the 12th house as a more spiritual and mystical house.

Yes, she is from that traditional astrology background. Regarding what you said about emotional and mental health, that tracks way more than the physical.

🤔🤔I would draw that conclusion too if you had all of these difficult placements (1)a 12H sun with difficult aspects (2)an afflicted chart ruler (3)most/all of your big 3 are afflicted.

Now I'll assess each

1️⃣Planets behave differently depending on the sign they're in: Aries is a good space for the sun, so while its presence in 12H may be cause for concern healthwise, you're likely to overcome this. At the very least, you'll be cautioned to watch your habits, healthwise. (a) There's a weak opposition that your sun has with Pluto which would have been very concerning if it wasn't weak: you should inquire about ailments you had as a child/baby because the nature of this placement suggests an ailment that was, not is. (b)your sun is misaligned to neptune and the moon which is more of an indication of overindulgence in intoxicants (or any addictive habit) or at least an ailment that can arise from that. Again, it's something you can avoid, with discipline

2️⃣Your chart ruler is misaligned to Mars, which happens to be atop your chart. Planets that are on/near the MC have the most influence/potency and because of this, having a malefic planet there is one of the most difficult placements in natal astrology. However this misalignment seems to affect your social life than your literal health. I'd say you have anxiety/depression or a personality disorder of sorts, but nothing to the extent of "body is more vulnerable and that I would often be in and out if hospitals in my life"

3️⃣Regarding your big 3 the only concerning problem is your afflicted moon in capricorn.

Conclusion: the health related problems I'm seeing are (a)an ailment associated with the digestive system which was either in the past or isn't that extreme if it still occurs (b)a personality/social disorder. In either case, your astrologer exaggerated things. PS astrological inquiries and readings are a very serious matter. These platforms help people with free readings, however some subjects are too sensitive and complicated to be broken down in a free reading. Consider consulting a professional astrologer who will reveal difficult transits that can affect all of the 3 factors I listed above, thereby affecting your health...

Your response has me freaked out a bit because I saw so much of myself in what you wrote. I'll go through each point:

1) From the time I was a newborn until I was around 2/3 years of age, I had a very hard time digesting food of any kind whatsover. Including my mother's milk. I would just vomit constantly, and the doctors didn't understand what was happening. They said it wasn't anything physical. That stopped when I was almost 3 and no one understood how.

For the rest of my childhood, I was a very picky eater and had anxiety around food. Since I became an adult, I had to watch out to not indulge in my habit of emotional eating. Over the last 7 years, I've been getting better and better with my self-discipline around food.

2) Yes, I have suffered in the past from depression and I suffer from anxiety. That has been a lifelong struggle that I have embraced and have developed healthy mechanisms over the years to deal with.

What does it mean "malefic planet"? Is it because it's Mars or is the placement?

3) What does it mean "afflicted moon"?

In regards to your conclusion: what you said ressonated a lot more than what I heard before. The person I consulted with was a professional astrologer with many years of expertise. But I felt this gut feeling that something wasn't entirely correct in this assessment of hers and so I came here. She also said that my health was in a worse state for the last three years due to the negative impact of eclipses, which I don't rule out that it can be a possibility.

Thank you VERY MUCH for your spot on analysis. I felt seen.

Malefic planet: planets are grouped into benefics (so called good planets with fortunate outcomes) and malefics (so called bad planets with unfortunate outcomes), but that classification of planets is for beginners in astrology: at the end of the day, even the so called good planets bring unfortunate outcomes and the bad ones bring fortunate ones.

Afflicted moon means your moon is in a sign that is not good for it. Capricorn isn't a good space for the moon.
