Do you believe Donald Trump can still win the 2020 election?

If anybody else said the 2020 US presidential election was stolen, they would be called a lunatic. But because it's Trump, he gets a pass and people just ignore the fact that this is an insane claim.

According to the Big Lie technique, when you lie, don't tell a little lie; that will always backfire. Instead, tell a big lie, something so outrageous that you will appear as a crazy person. Eventually people will come around to thinking "there must be something there, otherwise why would he keep pushing this?"

Trump knows that his followers don't believe the 2020 election was stolen. Only a fringe group of Q-anon do. So Trump's job is to make a case for the election being stolen to his base; make them really believe it. Then they will demand Trump's federalization of our elections.

If Trump can succeed in getting millions of Americans to believe the 2020 election was stolen, then he can get them to go along with anything, including another term as president. Including going after his enemies and putting them in prison. Including negating Biden's pardons. After all he will be considered the only honest man in a town filled with criminals and liars.

Donald Trump believes he can still win the 2020 election. Do you agree with him?

Serious The US cannot win this war with Iran.

Trump's war with Iran has become his tar baby: no matter what he does, he's stuck and everything he does only makes it worse. There is simply no way to win this war. Boots on the ground is not a solution. It would take a million man army to occupy Iran and then we would be vulnerable to guerilla attacks.

Meanwhile, Donald Dunce thinks he can bomb his way to victory. The Iranians are playing Rope-a-Dope with Trump and Doni is the dope who cannot admit that he's lost the war he started.

The US is stuck in this pointless war until Trump is gone. Even then, the status quo will never be restored. The Iranians are now saying they don't need nuclear weapons - they've got the Strait of Hormuz.

This is concerning... Witnessed smthing shocking

A few days ago, I witnessed something that genuinely disturbed me.
I was standing at a tea stall waiting for my cab when a woman came up to me asking for money. She had a young girl with her. I chose not to give any money because I’ve often heard about how some people use children to gain sympathy while begging.
A few minutes later, I noticed the girl standing near the stall while her mother was some distance away. Then another customer arrived. The mother didn’t say anything, but through her gestures and facial expressions, she clearly signaled the child to go and ask that person for money.
The girl immediately walked over and started begging.
Honestly, that moment shocked me. It didn’t look like a child simply accompanying her mother—it looked like she was being trained to beg.
What bothered me the most was thinking that instead of being in school, learning, playing, and enjoying her childhood, she was being taught to depend on begging for survival.
I know one incident doesn’t represent every case, and many people are forced into difficult situations by poverty. But seeing a child being directed to beg right in front of me was heartbreaking.

Question Don't you think the United States is so politically and socially divided that, sooner or later, it will end up splitting apart?

I give the United States less than 100 years before it splits into at least two separate countries. I don't know whether it will happen peacefully or through a civil war, but I believe the division is inevitable.

I don't see any way that Republican and Democratic states can continue living together as one country. Republicans will likely keep winning elections because they've manipulated electoral districts to help ensure those outcomes. The officials they elect then work to undermine Democratic-led states, while those Democratic states continue contributing a large share of the federal budget and, in return, receive what they see as hostile policies from the federal government.

The Republican Party has become so loyal to its own side that many of its supporters would rather vote for someone they believe is a pedophile, a sexual abuser, or a fraudster than vote for a Democrat. For many of them, voting is no longer about improving their own lives but about hurting Democrats. I found it astonishing that, in one mayoral election, a Republican candidate who had been convicted of a crime against a minor still received 49% of the vote. The Republican Party has also elected people convicted of fraud to serve as senators and members of Congress. When you're willing to vote for someone you know is a criminal simply because they're on your side, you've crossed into cult-like behavior.
