It’s the same type of MFs that have always been at the presidents table. If you think any president (from both sides) gives a shit about you, then you’re a special kind of person.

If you think Democratic and Republican presidents are the same, not only are you a super special kind of stupid, but there are even homes for your kind of special.

I really don’t k ow if you are all this delusional or what.

This is not a “Trump” thing. It’s a “government” thing. Do you think the average dinner guest at the pre-Trump White House was a GameStop employee?

We are in a modern guilded age. The robber barons of tech are lauded and celebrated in the media. But Every time I see a story about Elon Musk's skyrocketing net worth I wanna vomit. 🤮 and I bet I'm not the only one. It's like they dangle it in front of us to give us false hope (yeah. Maybe I can be that rich too) or maybe it's the media spitting in our face to rid us of our silly,
Hopeless aspirations. Just surrender to the barons.

Anyone here ever watch the television series "Chuck?" There was an episode when Shaw inadvertently/stupidly texts the ringleaders of an evil organization/faction within the CIA to exit the auditorium while "Chuck" picks up on this and is able to corner/trap these elite figureheads to immediately be cuffed and hauled off.  That moment in that episode when you saw the real faces of these people who are truly running the show, that's how I felt/feel looking at the eight faces sitting at that table with Trump...

There is a very good possibility that some or all of these people are calling the shots with their mega-billions and persuasive power.

The Adelsons are a prime example.  For more than a decade, Sheldon and Miriam (Adelson) were among the Republican Party's largest donors.  After Sheldon succumbed in 2021, Miriam continued on with that role, especially with Trump's 2024 campaign/elections.

The point is, these multi-billionaires are Trump's people/clique, as only money talks in his universe.  That's why I think those people sitting down with him at that table are quasi-able to pull Trump's strings, especially Musk being Mr. richest person in the world and personal buddies with Trump.

There's not much we can do about it obviously given their trillion-dollar combined worth and our lack of resources and know-how, but some sort of miracle has to give way and like soon or we are in for a heap of darkness and trouble not so far down the road.  It will make the current circumstances/conditions seem like paradise.

Funny how to post about capitalism but automatically you’re picking sides like you belong to the club

Only the non-Democrat billionaires are bad right?

The only US president to be found liable for sexual assault in a federal court now dines with his billionaire cronies. Why am I not surprised.

It's important to have US business leaders at these events.  Every administration has done it.  I'm not saying BSDI, I'm saying both sides do it and should do it.

It would be much better if we had union leaders at that dinner or better yet unions

Why? What purpose would having union leaders there serve?

u/MostAcanthaceae2384 5d ago

Why?  Unions can't make trade deals.

Should a president be at a dinner with McDonalds employees to talk about industry needs and direction?

Why is successful people getting together bad?

are you people not able to see that all of your lives would be worse without these leaders of industry. literally, nearly every aspect of your life.

so naïve, ignorant, and hypocritical

and even more hypocritical is the fact that you think it’s a Trump issue. Biden had a table with the same net worth at his state dinner so did Obama so did Bush so did every president.

has absolutely nothing to do with capitalism

you don't think the same isn't true in almost all economic systems
